It's been a busy six months...

Eeek this post is long overdue...

The last six months have seen our busy Christmas, Valentine's Day and now Mother's Day trading months.  My daughters seem to have grow up so much too with one setting her roots down firmly at Chichester Uni and the other, my youngest, now nearly reaching her 18th birthday and confirming her Uni place at Bath Spa for September.  I've met a milestone too and am now officially OVER THE HILL.  In the next few months I can hopefully write a few more blog posts and share some more of my news and views.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share my Mother's Day special offer which is available now at Love Kate's with 20% off:

To the Best Mother in the World Pop-Up Mother's Day Card.

Kate Reveals Who She Was Thinking Of...

Last week (22nd to 28th Sept 2014) was National Thinking of You week.  Organised by the Greeting Card Association, we were all encouraged to send one greeting card a day for a week. Why? To help create a wave of love - to send a greeting card and raise a smile - because receiving a greeting card makes us feel special and warm inside.

As the owner of Love Kate's the online greeting card shop, I wanted to get involved personally.  We ran an offer that was enjoyed by many in the run up to the week, giving away a special £5 money off voucher to anybody buying their seven greeting cards.  We hope, helping them to come back and shop again and spread even more love!

Naturally I love greeting cards, so the prospect of sending cards myself during this special celebration week was very exciting.  I love the concept as well that you don't need to wait for a special occasion to send a greeting card to someone.  So that's exactly what I did every day last week.  To be honest once I got going it was very hard to stop at just seven!

Kate Celebrates National Thinking of You Week

"I just want you to know I'm thinking about you..."

This week - 22nd to the 28th Sept 2014 is National Thinking of You week.  Organised by the Greeting Card Association it's aimed to encourage all of us to send a greeting card each day of this special week.  Perhaps by sending a card you wouldn't normally send, or to someone you've not seen for a while, just to say:

"Hi, I've been thinking about you..."

Kitchen table to a million

"This story was written last year; a year on and  it's amazing to see our shops are still developing and growing at pace.  In six years we've come a long way and the next stage is really exciting. We are now working with Get Set For Growth Cornwall to help us take some more big steps to grow our businesses.  One thing I know is that customer focus and satisfaction is key to everything: that's my mantra."

It was the summer of 2008 when the company Kate worked for went under.  With a big mortgage and bills to pay Kate didn’t know which way to turn.  Five years later and the online business she started on her kitchen table is set to turn over a million.

Let me help you say “Bonne FĂȘte Papa!”

Did you know Father’s Day in the UK always falls on the third Sunday of the June?
